As part of his Road to IRONMAN Frankfurt series, Rennrad-News editor Harald Englert explores the role of performance apparel in long-distance triathlon, including first-hand race experience with Fusion’s TEMPO! ONE and TEMPO! TWO suits.
The feature examines Fusion’s approach to developing different race suits for different athlete demands. TEMPO! ONE is presented as the uncompromising performance option, using a close race-specific fit, structured aerodynamic fabrics and a minimal construction designed around performance on the bike. TEMPO! TWO takes a more versatile approach, balancing aerodynamic performance with additional comfort and storage for long-distance racing.
Having raced in both suits during his preparation for IRONMAN Frankfurt, Englert describes them as highly functional, well considered and convincing in fit. For his own race in Frankfurt, he expects to choose TEMPO! ONE because of its more compact race-oriented construction and the way it fits him.
The independent test provides a real-world editorial perspective on how Fusion translates aerodynamic development into different apparel solutions for competitive triathletes.
