What makes you unique as an athlete?

I am really good at preparing, and I love working on the little things. I am not necessarily the most talented (though it is always a good question what that means precisely). But I am ready and able to make a serious effort, day in and day out, and that gets me a long way. Then I am not afraid to play for high stakes and go all in.

What’s your best performance(s)?

It was an achievement to take part in the Rio Olympics in 2016. I have made it to the World Cup podium three times (3rd place twice and 2nd place once) and been in the top 10 five times in the WTS series. I was also in the Danish team that won the European championships in 2017.

Which performance has influenced you the most?

4th place in the Stockholm WTS in 2016 – that was my big breakthrough on the international scene, where I came to believe that I can go far with the way I do things.

What does FUSION equipment mean to you during training and in competition?

Fusion’s clothes mean I can always perform at my best in training, as I have clothing for all conditions. The comfort in Fusion kit means I never have to worry about it, so I can use all my energy in the right place, on my training.

I am wildly pleased to be in on the development of the new Fusion sprint suit, and I am convinced we will achieve our vision of creating the world’s best tri-suit.

What other sponsors do you have and how do they help you become a better athlete?

ADP is my main sponsor, and together with Fredericia Idrætsfond, the sports fund, they provide the financial foundation that allows me to concentrate fully on sport and live out my dream every day.

Felt provides me with their AR frame, which is one of the very best aerodynamic frames, and is good in all conditions. My bike has Sram eTap, and wheels and tyres from Vittoria.

Ceramicspeed supplies bearings, chains and pulley-wheels, ensuring that I run on a fully optimised set-up.
